From Overdose to Redemption: Evan Shorey’s Testimony | Ep. 19
Show Notes:
What happens when someone raised in the church finds himself addicted to heroin and fighting for his life?
Growing up surrounded by pastors and ministry, Evan Shorey knew all about God but struggled to truly know Him. What began as teenage rebellion eventually spiraled into drug addiction, a near-fatal overdose, and a desperate search for hope.
In this powerful episode of Renew His World, host Carmen Lindsay sits down with Evan to hear his remarkable testimony of redemption. From his darkest moments in addiction to discovering the transforming power of God's grace through Teen Challenge, Evan shares how genuine surrender, biblical discipleship, and a community of believers helped rebuild his life.
Together, they explore why following Christ requires more than religious rules, how God uses brokenness to bring restoration, and why the church must become a place where people can find authentic relationships, accountability, and lasting transformation.
No matter how far you've fallen, your story isn't over. God can meet you right where you are.
