Show Notes:

What if the “last days” you’ve feared your whole life already happened—and that’s actually good news for the church today?

In this episode of Renew His World, host Carmen Lindsay sits down with theologian and author Dr. Harold Eberle to talk about eschatology—without the charts, panic, or prophecy hype. Harold shares how he moved from a “Left Behind” fear of the future to what he calls a victorious eschatology: the historic Christian view that many of Jesus’ “end times” prophecies were fulfilled in the first century, while we still look forward in hope to His return.

Carmen and Harold walk through Matthew 23–24, the destruction of Jerusalem in AD 70, and why most of the church for 2,000 years believed that some of Revelation is already fulfilled and some is yet to come. Along the way they unpack the rise of the Scofield Reference Bible, Darby’s dispensationalism, and how “rapture culture” reshaped American Christianity—and often drained believers of courage to engage culture and fight for their nations.
